Frozen Latina pasta does not need to be thawed before cooking – it can be placed directly into boiling water. There is no need to add extra cooking time. Frozen Latina sauce should be thawed in the fridge or microwave and then heated in a saucepan or microwave.

The product must be refrigerated at or below 4°C. After opening consume product within 3 days. Ensure the product is tightly wrapped or stored in a sealed container once opened.

Yes. Latina pasta and sauce can be frozen prior to the used by date and stored in this way for 3-4 months.

If your salad contains a lemon juice or vinegar-based dressing, it can cause salad leaves to wilt after a short time. If your salad is not to be consumed within an hour, it can be helpful to keep the dressing separate and pour it over the salad just before serving.

The Latina Fresh plain pasta range (Fettuccini, Cannelloni, Gnocchi and Lasagne) and a number of the filled Ravioli, Agnolotti and Tortellini all have non-meat varieties. These include fillings like Ricotta and Spinach, Cheese and Spinach and Chargrilled Eggplant, Ricotta and Basil. A number of Latina Fresh sauces are also available in non-meat varieties – such as the Latina Fresh Creamy Sundried Tomato Sauce, Italian Tomato, Onion and Garlic Sauce, Mediterranean Sauce and Chunky Char-Grilled Vegetable Sauce. Latina Fresh Kid’s Mini Ravioli is designed especially for children to have bite-sized pasta pieces with five hidden vegetables. The Latina Fresh Kid’s pasta is naturally good (no added colours, flavours or preservatives) and is a good source of fibre too!

• Both the Latina Fresh sauce tub and lid are made out of polypropylene and are recyclable.
• Latina Fresh pasta packaging is made from two recyclable plastics (PVC and polyethylene) however they are laminated together (requirement due to thermo- forming). Due to this lamination they are not recyclable in most council recycling facilities (councils do not have facilities to separate two different plastics). The Latina Fresh research and development team is working with suppliers on developing other recyclable alternatives.
• We use this packaging because it meets our requirements in relation to food safety standards. This non gas-permeable packaging is required to deliver fresh chilled pasta to our consumers as it provides a barrier to oxygen and moisture which aids in keeping the pasta fresh.
