Get Crafty
Everybody has a crecative side, so why not try face painting, colouring in, creating masks from paper plates or making recycled paper.
Play Dress Up
Pull out the costumes, or even let the kids raid your wardrobe. They’ll have a ball pretending to be magical princesses and superheroes. Challenge them to create a play featuring their characters.
Take a Bike Ride
Discover the local bike paths, and even pack a picnic for when you arrive at your destination. This a great way to squeeze in some physical exercise for the whole family.
Organise a Movie Day
Everyone needs a lazy day now and then, so make sure you pick up some dvd’s and yummy snacks the day before, and that way nobody has to get out of their pj’s!
Visit the Zoo
This is an activity that never gets old. There’s always something new to see at the zoo, whether it’s an exciting new enclosure, or a new baby animal. For even more of an adventure, why not visit an open range zoo?
Go Swimming
Hit the beach, or if it’s cold out, try the local indoor pool. With wave pools, diving boards and school holiday programs to boot, there’s something there for everyone.
